Luzern

Last Sunday we took the train to Luzern for the day! The city is considered the "Heart of Switzerland." It was gorgeous, not only the sights but also the weather. We walked around the city viewing all of the sites.

"Lion Monument"- A memorial for the heroic death of Swiss mercenaries at the Tuleries in 1792

It was carved right in the side of the mountain/ sandstone formation. It was an amazing site to see!
